That under Pope Francis "certain difficulties and troubles became evident" is "undeniable." So said Archbishop Georg Gänswein, who turns 70 on Thursday, in an interview published by Katholisch.de on July 27. Monsignor Gänswein believes Leo XIV recognizes these problems and is addressing them. In Germany, the chief concern of Monsignor Gänswein remains the "Synodal Way": "The tensions surrounding the Synodal Way and various initiatives that break away from the Catholic faith continue to exist and await a final resolution. For many Catholics in Germany who simply want to live their faith, this is a millstone around their neck." Contradicting his own criticism, however, Archbishop Gänswein said he has "a good impression" of the new president of the German bishops' conference, Bishop Heiner Wilmer of Münster. He is a leading supporter of and affirmative voter for the German Synodal Way. #newsWbfhggjvyv
Around 500 nude volunteers gathered outside the Cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, on Sunday for a photographic installation by American artist Spencer Tunick as part of the Culture & Business Pride festival. Participants, painted in the rainbow colors, posed in front of the cathedral on the feast of St. Anne, the city's patron saint. The project was planned in advance as an official festival event, with backing from local tourism and government bodies. Organizers said the artwork celebrated diversity and homosexuality. According to El País, the local bishop, Monsignor José Mazuelos, said he did not object to the nude performance in front of his cathedral: "I have no problem. When we go to the beach, we see naked bodies, don't we?" His complaint was instead about access restrictions that temporarily delayed clergy and parishioners attending the 10 a.m. Eucharist. He also described the event as "marketing for the city," adding he supported it insofar as it promoted …अधिक
This abomination was well planned, especially on the feast day of Our Lady's Mother 'Saint Anne', the patron Saint of Spain. It would be advisable to stand up and fight back young Catholic men of Spain, with a Rosary in one hand and a Scapular in the other (weapon and Armor) whilst praying the Rosary! ~ God help Catholic Spain!

Australian Bishop Celebrates Roman Rite: On 26 July, Bishop Emeritus Geoffrey Jarrett, 88, of Lismore celebrated a Pontifical High Mass in the Roman Rite for the feast of St Anne in Melbourne. The liturgy followed the Confirmations celebrated on the previous day.
Solemn Pontifical High Mass celebrated earlier today in Australia by Bishop Geoffrey Jarrett (Bishop Emeritus, Diocese of Lismore).
Architecture is very good - but too stark for a Cathedral, more appropriate for a Cistercian monastery. Needs COLOR and devotional art to uplift the faithful.
Pilgrims Celebrate Outdoor Dawn Mass Instead of Basilica Liturgy at Covadonga: At dawn today, pilgrims of the sixth Our Lady of Christendom Pilgrimage in Spain celebrated a traditional outdoor Mass at their campsite in Sevares, Asturias. The Mass was not allowed in the Basilica of Covadonga. After Mass, the pilgrims continued on foot to Covadonga, where they concluded with prayer and the singing of the Te Deum before the Blessed Sacrament. The three-day pilgrimage, held from 25–27 July, covered nearly 100 kilometers from Oviedo to Covadonga and drew more than 1,700 participants.

27.07.2026 CARDINAL JOSEPH COUTTS AGREES VATICAN COUNCIL II IS ECCLESIOCENTRIC : NO DENIAL FROM FOCOLARES, CHARISMATIC RENEWAL AND NEW CATEHECHUMENAL WAY. Cardinal Joseph Coutts and Archbishop Benny Travas, the Archbishop of Karachi, Pakistan, agree that LG 8, 14,16,UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II are not practical exceptions for the Athanasius Creed, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus , an ecumenism of return of the Syllabus of Pius IX and neither for CCC 846 on outside the Church no salvation. CCC 846 also cites AG 7. This would be the new interpretation of Vatican Council II by the Focolares, the Charismatic Renewal, the New Cathechumenal Way and the Legion of Mary in the diocese. With LG 8, 14, 16 etc being only hypothetical and invisible, Vatican Council II has no practical exceptions for the exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal at the Latin Mass and Tradition in general. The Council is no more liberal. There is no denial from Fr. Edward Joseph the Vicar …अधिक
Patrick Buisson, the former adviser to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, named the Fraternity of Saint Vincent Ferrier as the universal beneficiary of his estate in a will drafted in March 2021, reports LeMonde.fr on July 4. The community follows the traditional Dominican rite. Buisson died on December 26, 2023, at age 74. He bequeathed not only his personal assets but also a substantial collection of political archives, including manuscripts, notebooks, correspondence, digital files and recordings from his years at the Élysée Palace. Archives relating to Sarkozy's presidency - including Buisson's secret recordings made between 2007 and 2012 - are at the center of an ongoing dispute. Buisson's son, Georges, has challenged the will and argues the archives are of public interest and should go to the French National Archives. There is an agreement in principle that the presidential archives will go to the National Archives, but the inheritance litigation continues. Founded in 1979 …अधिक
The 'Click to Pray' app, which is connected to the Vatican, exposed user information for months due to a security vulnerability, reports the unknown cybersecurity publication Dark Reading. The app, which is available on iOS and Android, is operated by the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network, a pontifical society entrusted to the Jesuits. Dark Reading reports that the app contained an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability. This occurs when an application allows users to request information using an account or record number, but fails to verify that they are authorised to view it. By altering these identifiers, an attacker can access other users' data because proper security checks are absent. Names and email addresses linked to over 700,000 accounts were accessible through this flaw. The vulnerability was reportedly discovered in January 2026 by an independent security researcher known as 'BobDaHacker'. He claimed that repeated attempts to notify the relevant parties went …अधिक
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 13,36-43. Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples approached him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field." He said in reply, "He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed the children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned (up) with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear." shareyourcatholicfaith

150-Page Dossier at the Heart of the Rupnik Case: PerMariam.com has published a timeline of the Marko Rupnik case. One detail stands out: the Jesuits compiled a 150-page dossier documenting alleged abuse by Fr. Marko Rupnik between 1985 and 2018. According to his former Jesuit superior, the credibility of these reported events is "very high."
Jim Ferguson @JimFergusonUK STEPHEN MILLER: "THE ERA OF DEI IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS OVER." Stephen Miller says President Trump has ended race- and sex-based hiring, recruiting, retention, promotion and training policies across the entire federal government. "It's going to be merit-based across the whole federal government." Miller said the administration will enforce federal civil rights laws to prohibit discrimination based on race or sex and argued that government hiring should be based solely on qualifications, ability and performance. He also warned that companies found violating federal anti-discrimination laws could face financial and other penalties. My assessment: Merit should be the standard. The people entrusted with protecting our borders, enforcing our laws, controlling our airspace and serving the public should be selected because they are the most qualified for the job—not because they satisfy demographic targets. That's a principle most Americans can understand, …अधिक
The Vatican has published new guidelines today, "Recollecting: Accompanying the Preparation of the Local Church's Evaluation Assembly," for the next stage of the Synod on Synodality. Every diocese is required to hold evaluation assemblies during the first half of 2027 to assess how the Synod's Final Document has been implemented. Bishops will lead the evaluation, establish or reactivate synodal teams, and approve a six- to eight-page narrative report to be submitted to Rome. They are also instructed to describe "transformations in decision-making processes, and reforms of structures" as part of their narrative report. Interreligious synodality Each diocese will also hold an evaluation assembly using the method of "conversation in the Spirit." The guidelines state that dioceses should consider inviting "representatives of other Christian Churches and communities or other religions as observers." Lay access to "leadership roles" The document repeatedly says synodality is not a temporary …अधिक
Waking at 3AM? The Sacred Secret the Desert Fathers Left Behind Why do you keep waking up at 3AM? Modern sleep science has one answer. The Desert Fathers of the Orthodox Church had a far older — and far more complete — one. In this video, we explore the ancient Orthodox practice of nighttime vigil, the concept of nepsis (watchfulness), and why the early Christian monks believed 3AM was the most spiritually significant hour of the day. Drawing from the Philokalia, the Sayings of the Desert Fathers, and John Climacus's Ladder of Divine Ascent, we uncover what these ancient holy men knew about the soul in the hours of darkness — and what modern neuroscience is only beginning to confirm. Topics covered: Why circadian science shows 3AM is different from other sleep disruptions What nepsis (Orthodox watchfulness) actually means and how to practice it What the Desert Fathers called logismoi — and why they believed nighttime was when they attacked The Jesus Prayer as a response to nighttime …अधिक
The German Woman Behind the Dialogue Sermon Also Led Homoxex Blessings: Theresia Reischl, who delivered a dialogue homily with Auxiliary Bishop Wolfgang Bischof of Munich during a Ballon Eucharist on 22 July, had previously co-led an ecumenical Valentine's Day blessing service on 14 February with a Protestant female preacher. During the service, same-sex couples also received blessings, and Deacon Thomas Kirchmeier stated: 'We have no problem with that; they are people in love.'
